N60302EP VISIBLE LIGHT ILLUMINATOR (VLI)

A compact, lightweight, combat flashlight that projects a wide-angle beam with a concentrated central beam of white light for searching, acquisition, identification, and momentary dazzling of targets in any low-light environment.

The VLI can be used in either the hand-held or weapon-mounted mode. The VLI mounts to the M16A2/A4 service rifle, M4A1 Close Quarters Battle Weapon, and the M1014 shotgun via an integral MIL-STD-1913 rail attachment bracket.

The VLI has been replaced by the VLIR, otherwise known as the Surefire.

E1710 Trijicon Rifle Combat Optic (RCO) AN/PVQ-31A (A4)

The RCO is a fixed 4x optical aiming sight designed for use with the service rifle configured with the MILSTD-1913 Rail Adapter System. It attaches to the rail to provide the user a targeting tool to engage distant daylight and near low-lit targets with increased identification certainty. The reticles of the two RCO scopes appear identical. However, each reticle is specific to the ballistics of the weapon and is marked with identification (A4 or M4) at the bottom center of the reticle display.

The Unertl Sniper Scope is a fixed 10X power scope. The scope comes in two versions, the MST-100 and the MST-150. The MST-100 is intended to be mounted on the M40A1and M40A3. The MST-150 is intended to be mounted on the Special Application Scoped Rifle (SASR). Both systems encompass a mil-dot reticle that enables the sniper to estimate ranges out to 1000 yards.

The Unertl Sniper Scope has been replaced by the Scout Sniper Day Scope.

The Mossberg Model 590 shotgun is a militarized version of the popular game shotgun known as the Model 500. The Model 590 features reinforced areas such as in the receiver parts and other mechanical systems. An additional heat shield for the barrel is also provided. The militarized variant also features a larger ammunition capacity. Like most other combat shotguns based on hunting shotguns, the Mossberg Model 590 can be called on to be a reliable and robust weapon under the most adverse environmental conditions and is a choice close-quarters weapon.
