E11627G AN/PVS-17B Miniature Night Sight (MNS)

The AN/PVS-17 is a lightweight compact high performance device that will use the OMNI IV MX 10160 image intensifier tube. The system weighs less than two pounds, comes with a MIL-STD-1913 rail grabber interface, and is immersible to 66 feet. The AN/PVS-17 consists of two configurations, the AN/PVS-17B and AN/PVS-17C. The 17B incorporates a 2.25x magnification and the 17C incorporates a 4.5x magnification.

The AN/PVS-17 can be mounted to any weapon that uses the standard MIL-STD-1913 rail and will replace the AN/PVS-4 in select units. The 17B is intended to be mounted on the M16 and the 17C is intended to be mounted on the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) and M240G Medium Machine Gun via the carrying handle utilizing a V-Mount interface.

AN/PVS-17B was replaced by the AN/PVS-17C.  Serial Numbers w/o "R" before serial number and "C" after serial number are PVS-17A/B and should be retrofitted.

E11567G AN/PVS-9 SIMRAD NIGHT VISION SNIPERSCOPE SIGHT

The SIMRAD KN203FAB will allow the user to engage and/or identify targets during periods of low-light or nighttime operations when used with the sniper day sight. The SIMRAD is equipped with a mounting system that allows it to be attached to a sniper day scope and a field adjustable bore-sight that enables the system to be bore-sighted to any weapon system on which it is mounted.

The AN/PVS-9 (V)4 will primarily be mounted to the M40A3.

E11542B AN/PVS-14 MONOCULAR NIGHT VISION DEVICE

The Night Vision Image Intensifier is a Generation III Image Intensification device which is similar in performance to the AN/PVS-7B/D, Night Vision Goggle. The AN/PVS-14 is smaller and lighter than the AN/PVS-7 and provides a much greater latitude of employment. The AN/PVS-14 can be used as a hand-held, pocket scope, carried in the utility uniform pocket, mounted to a held or helmet mount, or mounte to a weapon. The AN/PVS-14 is issud to Marines in infantry, armor and reconnaissance units whose duties or equipment are inconsistent with the use of the AN/PVS-7B/D.

E11522B AN/PVS-7B/D NIGHT VISION GOGGLES

The Night Vision Goggle, AN/PVS-7B/D, is a third generation (GEN III) passive, night vision system intended to provide the operator an improved capability to conduct night combat operations, conduct night land navigtion, perform a wide variety of manual tasks, provide medical aid, operate motor transport assets and MRC vehicles, and condut surveillance under low light conditions.

E10487B AN/PEQ-21B VECTOR COMMON LASER RANGE FINDER (CLRF)

Common Laser Rangefinder (CLRF) is the single program of record to fulfill existing and future Marine Corps requirements for targeting Laser Rangefinders. It is a lightweight, eye-safe laser rangefinder capable of being carried and employed by a single Marine. The principle functions of the CLRF is to assist the operator in determining a target location by measuring distance, direction, and vertical angle from the operator to the object. The CLRF assists the operator with target detection, recognition, and identification by providing optics similar in magnification and field of view to the M-22 binoculars. The CLRF interfaces with PLGR, DAGR, Target Handoff System, D-DACT and the AN/PVS-14 for night operations.

The CLRF is a replacement for the AN/GVS-5, a Class 4 Non-Eye Save Laser Infrared Observation Set and Precision Targeting System, PTS-180, (VIPER II) which are fielded to infantry companies, artillery batteries, Tactical Air control Parties, Air and Naval Gunfire Liaison Companies, and division and Force Reconnaissance. The PTS-180 can be upgraded by the vendor and has been fielded to the Marine Corps as a Vector 21-B.

E0061 – AN/PVS-21 LOW PROFILE NIGHT VISION GOGGLES

The AN/PVS-21 Low Profile Night Vision Goggle design enables aggressive night mobility. The low profile design with a total depth of just over 3 inches is unequaled for aggressive night operations, such as, rapid terrain traversal, weapons employment, parachuting, close-quarter battle, and vehicle operations. The see-through optics design eliminates tunnel vision and enables smooth, natural transition from dark to light, defeats blinding glare and improves operations during ambient light surges. The AN/PVS-21 has a 40┬░ FOV Dual Tube System and is Sensor Fusion capable with integrated Heads up Display.

E0020 – SCOUT SNIPER MEDIUM RANGE NIGHT SIGHT (SSMRNS)

The SSMRNS will provide a new medium-range night sight capability that will integrate with the M40A3, M82A3, and a semi-automatic sniper rifle. The SSMRNS is a lightweight, weapon mounted, battery operated, imaging device for engagement of targets at night and low light conditions. The SSMRNS is an individual optic, capable of assisting scout sniper teams engaging targets during reduced light and/or obscured targets with increased identification certainty from 400-800 yards. The SSMRNS shall be used in conjunction with the Scout Sniper Day Scope (SSDS).
