The M45 Mortar Boresight is used for boresighting the 81mm mortar. The boresight is attached over the mortar barrel with the strap during the boresighting process.
The Shop Set, Maintenance, Electro-Optics, is a transportable facility designed to provide third and fourth echelon maintenance capability for the maintenance/repair of optic, electro-optic, fire control and laser range finder equipment. It is comprised of: Shelter, Maintenance EMI, 8X8X20 feet; internal appointment modules to provide working and storage space; and the basic tools and equipment used in the maintenance/repair of optic, electro-optic, fire control and laser range finder equipment. The shelter can accommodate four repair personnel and has storage of tools, test equipment, small spare/repair parts and small components for items awaiting or undergoing maintenance/repair.
The M1A1 or M1A2 (radioactive) Gunner’s Quadrant with M82 Carrying Case is a portable precision leveling instrument used for measuring the elevation or depression angles of artillery (TAMMS). It is also used for checking the adjustments of elevating mechanisms and checking accuracy of sighting and fire control equipment.

The Night Sight Maintenance Facility, AN/TAM-6(V)3, is a modified S-280 shelter used to support all configurations of man-portable common thermal night vision sights. The facility is operated by two technicians, MOS 2171. The facility requires one skid mounted 18,000 BUT, 60 Hz Environmental Control Unit (ECU), (B0012) and one 30Kw, 120/208v, 50/60 Hz generator for operation.
